Our fate… our children's future…

Dear friends
After two weeks of different kind of suffering , I feel more depressed & worry about our fate .what will happen to us , how my children's future is going to be?
Will this constitution solve our problems or bring us much more tragedies. I can't be guarantee that ,& I feel confused because I am not political.
My kids should start another school year , that makes me crazy, another year of disquietude. I asked my husband to defer this year . Sunshine feel very miserable & she refuse to change her school or defer this year . We are all distrait .
Mama…

Hi Mama,

A couple of days ago, I did a paragraph-by-paragraph analysis of the constitution draft on my blog. If you'd like to see a walk-through of it, you're welcome to click here.

To summarize, I actually thought this constitution looked quite good. If it is passed, I think it could lay a foundation for a stable, prosperous, and progressive nation to be built on it.

Mama,
No one knows what the future holds but I have to believe that things will get better for you soon. You have so many people that are praying for you.
Just do your best to keep your family safe while you carry on with your lives. That is all that you can do.
As I posted on Sunshine's blog, the world is lucky to have someone like her in it. You are raising a delightful young lady.
I wish you and your family peace.

Wish there was a way to home school your children this next year. Then after this next year things should be safer for her to get back with there friends since home schooling would prevent missing a grade. But home schooling may not be possible in Iraq's eduction system.

Sunshine wants so bad to live a normal life like kids around the world should be allowed to do. But under Saddam, there was no normal life for many, many people in Iraq.

The politicians should be thinking not of them selves when they do things, they should be thinking of the children.

Take one day at a time.

skizm-just for the record, it took the Aussies 10 years, the U.S. took 11 years from the Dec. of Ind., in fact, we still occasionally amend it. The Iraqi constitution is complete and needs no further approval to be sent to the people.
Mama-went you get to the end of your rope, tie a knot in it and hang on! Brighter days are coming. Enjoy your trip!

Mama my dear,
We will make sure you are ok.

If anything happens to you, or to sunshine, I will bloody come to Iraq myself if I have to with 100 bodyguards to bring you whatever you may need.

Sunshine will never stop shining, and she will never back away in the face of fear or danger.

You raised her this way, and you will never hide either.

Do not fall into depression my dear, do not give in to lifes hardships.

We will change the world and save you, just wait and see...

Everything we can do, we are trying.

This constitution will make no difference now. Iraq had a constitution before, but that made no difference then.

Our consititutions protect us, but not really. If someone wishes to try dictate over you, your only hope is to stay strong and refuse to let them win.

Fight with every ray of light left in you, fight for your childrens future.

It is your right to be happy, and everyone should know it.

Mama, I don't blame you for being depressed. But from everything Sunshine has written you are one incredible mother and a generous doctor/dentist. You are truly one of the good people in the world and you should not let evil people and acts get you down. I don't know if the constitution will help but I do know a strong Iraqi government that can meet the internal infrastructure and medical demands will. Please stay safe...and be proud.
