New hope or....

People in my country wonder about the consequences of the new American president ,Obama ,on their future !!!Some believe that could bring hope, and could put an end to the American occupation. Others believe the withdrawal of the ENEMY'S army could make things worse, and Americans have to correct their huge mistakes before leaving. other Iraqis believe the new president ,will not change the Americans strategy in Iraq or in anywhere else , he will complete the policy but maybe in different way , without dramatic changes But everyone believe that Israel ,the main American's allay will not allow any alteration that may concern israel's stance.
Mama

i think that we "the iraqis" got to stop hoping,we were hoping long time ago and its getting from worse to the worst. i believe that we ought to depend on our selves rather than hoping from others to help us.
thank for sharing.
take care.

If you really want to end the occupation of Iraq, and the entire "War on Terror", Momma, you are going to have to get busy exposing the Truth about 9/11.

Once the Truth about 9/11 is exposed far and wide (WTC 1, 2, AND 7 were controlled demolition), the entire reasoning behind the occupation of your country crumbles into nothing but the fabrication it is.

I understand that it's hard to care about the attacks on NYC when your own country has been destroyed, but joining the Truth movement, and educating your readers about it, is the single most important thing you can do if you want the occupation to end.

"Hope" isn't enough. Time to take action.

Mama,

I didn't vote for Obama for many reasons. But now he'll be president, and I have to give him a chance to prove me wrong.

As president, Obama's reasponsibility is the interests of the American people, not Iraq, not Israel, not Jamaica.

As you might have heard, the economy in the US is in serious jeopardy of collapsing. Politically, the economy is always more important, because if people are out of work the politicians hear about it and, they might be the next ones to be out of work.

I've lived through 10 or 11 presidents and I can honestly say that most of the time I wasn't affected one way or the other.

Obviously George Bush affected your life. Time will tell if it turns out right.

Mama,

Anonymous hsa unjustly lay the burden of discovering the truth of 9/11 on you.

I would reject his premise as being specious and politically motivated.

He suggests a conspiracy and expects you to get to the bottom of it in order to "end the occupation of Iraq".

If it were in your power to do such a thing (end the occupation of Iraq), I think you would have done it a long time ago.

If the US actually occupied Iraq, things would have been a lot worse.

We never really occupied Iraq because we never really expected to be there this long. Things didn't go as expected, and got out of control.

From what I understand, Mosul is probably one of the few places in Iraq where violence is still constant.

I'm concerned about you and your family and pray that one day we can talk about normal things.

I don't think Israel is the main ally of the US - both Britain and Germany are much bigger countries and closer allies. However, these are not under threat and Israel is. So is Taiwan.

It's not Obama, it's THE SYSTEM. I feel sorry for the people who think one man can "change" everything. What a joke! If Obama really had the power to change it all, he would have been JFKed (murdered) by now, if he ever got a chance at all.

People are dumb. They believe what the corporate media tells them to believe. They "believe" "change" is equal to electing a man who is half-black, never mind that he appoints the same old players to his cabinet and spews the same old rhetoric.

If you want REAL change, Momma, join the Truth movement. I can't understand why you haven't already :/

Obama has promised to remove American troops in 16 months unless everything in Iraq turns much worse. It will depend on if Iraq can govern itself. That will depend on the Iraqi people. Lets hope that they can do it.

Mama, I can't begin to feel your pain. My heart breaks for you and your family.
Would you prefer to be ruled by terror than have the Americans try to help you succeed against the terrorists? The Americans want only peace for Iraq. Who is the enemy?
Keep a strong spirit. I long for you to have peace.
